Expertise: As an historian of the Second World War in Europe, Dr. Blobaum's research focuses on the history of the Polish-language “reptile” (collaborationist) press as well as the Holocaust and antisemitism in Poland.

In her research dedicated to the history of Polish reptile press she analyzes the relationship between propaganda and the press under German and Soviet occupation regimes as well as its social/political reception and impacts, for example, on Polish-Jewish relations.
