My research interests include Canadian food studies, gardens in all periods and genres of Canadian literature, Canadian drama, and women’s writing. I am currently working with a group of scholars exploring Canadian literary fare. This project’s primary objective is to explore how Canadians understand and participate in the nation’s foodways through narrative. I am especially interested in food in the work of Margaret Atwood, and food events and trans-historical foodways in Canadian drama.
