Both courses should bring to bear interdisciplinary theoretical perspectives, e.g., literary, gender, or ritual theory or cultural studies, on post-biblical, classical Jewish literature. Courses may also run at the 100-level with additional readings and coursework in Hebrew. Possibility of renewal for a full year with a teaching load of one course per semester.
