Modified Search Outline

Academic Keys provides customized candidate searches and has been recruiting and posting executive and faculty positions for nearly 10 years. We identify, attract, evaluate and acquire the best candidates for our clients. Our company created CASS, a proprietary candidate ranking and sorting tool and maintains a data base of over 650,000 Who's Who in Academia, used by over 15 of the top recruiting firms as their source of qualified candidates.

We ensure your candidates are well correlated with your needs, saving you precious staff time. Because of access to our proprietary search and advertising tools, your search costs less than other firms. Applicant selection and vetting is done by both active and former department heads and deans. These individuals have many active relations with deans, chancellors, provost and presidents from over a wide spectrum of disciplines worldwide. They understand the committee selection process and are acutely aware of necessary attributes desired when seeking candidates.

Over the past ten years, we have supplied candidates to all of the top 100 universities in the U.S. and Canada including MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, University of CA, Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin - Madison, and UCLA.

Process:

We start by working with your selection committee or HR department to fully understand your candidate qualifications, why they are important, the relative weight of each qualifier, and your timeline.

With this knowledge, we use our experience, our knowledge of the higher education landscape, our wide range of active relationships, CASS candidate ranking and sorting tool and our database to provide a sorted list of competent candidates along with the justification of our recommendations. We guarantee satisfaction from candidate qualification, job description development, premier advertising, acquisition of quality applicants, and candidate recommendations to your final selection. You'll get the best candidate faster, easier and less expensively. Getting through the selection process quickly is particularly important. Studies indicate that institutions have lost first and second choices due to overly long selection processes. Having to repeat the process squanders additional time and resources.
