Taschka is the author of a book about Hans Heinrich Dieckhoff, the last German ambassador to the U.S. before World War II, which the American Historical Review called “a must for anyone interested in the history of Germany and German-American relations.”
Taschka’s teaching focuses on world and European history, the history of National Socialism, the history of the two world wars, and international relations. Her latest research interests include the history of terrorism and the environmental movement in Germany.
