  • The poet John Campion is the founder of Ecotropic Works, which holds that for human culture to be healthy it must exist in an ecological niche. He has published numerous books of poetry, and his work has been described as landscape architecture for the page. He translated the first English version of Primero Sueno by Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz.

Additionally, he is a conceptual artist with his painted Texturals (illustrated text) and has collaborated with a number of composers and plastic artists in various shows and CDs. His poetry and other art reflect Ecotropic values.
