My background in rhetoric, pedagogy, technology, and science provides me numerous tools for teaching students to value communication because I believe it does not matter what a person knows if he of she cannot communicate that knowledge to others. My focus has always been towards integrating written, spoken, and visual communication in the classroom so that students can see how the different forms of communication compliment one another in order to assist students with becoming better communicators in the classroom or workplace.
