Professor Quartly is currently working on two books. With John Lack she is writing a history of the Australian Natives Association, an organisation central to the making of Australian federation, which will speak to the current state of Australian political life. And she is writing a history of her family which she hopes will both interest her grandchildren, and contribute to the history of the family in Australia.
