My core interest is Aboriginal people's vision, voice and values for a health Australia - ensuring this is conveyed well in research projects, criminal justice sytem programs, program evaluation, and education of health and social support providers.
I am interested in how Aboriginal people say caring should occur - caring for people, caring for Country and caring society and our economy.
I am interested in research being designed with 'end-user' input - in end-users not being end-users but major influences on research and evaluation, and on conveying insights. This does not have to jeopardise integrity of research - if quality critical self-reflection by researchers occurs, and researchers work in multi-disciplinary teams.
I am interested in the general public hearing more about excellence of Aboriginal people in research, hence contributing to a wide range of publications and partnerships, as well as Croakey.org social journalism for health media organisation.
