Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is currently recruiting for the Director of the Embry-Riddle Language Institute (ERLI), an Intensive English Program at the Daytona Beach campus. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial individual with experience in and deep knowledge about English language training, English for Specific Purposes, and international education.

The Director will serve as the senior leader for ERLI and will share overall responsibility for the successful advancement of ERLI with the Dean of International Programs. The Director serves on the Dean of International Programs leadership team. The Director will be responsible for expanding ERLI’s student body, monitoring the curriculum, and will drive innovative new programmatic directions to support ERLI’s mission. The director will contribute to ERLI’s revenue generation model, will manage and supervise ERLI faculty and staff, and will support ERLI’s goal to increase the overall advancement and innovation of international programs on the ERAU Daytona Beach Campus.The Director oversees all management and operations for the ERLI and must have demonstrated ability in the following: curriculum development successful program creation classroom management, & evaluation skills conducting instructor observation & evaluation working with a variety of delivery formats & pedagogical technologies budgeting experienceIn addition, the Director will be directly responsible for:growth of the institute as defined by enrollments, revenues, etc.administering successful awards and summer programs writing proposals in response to RFP’s building and strengthening relationships with sponsors recruiting and hiring instructors managing the departmental budget knowledge of visa regulations (particularly F-1 and J-1)participating in professional development opportunities on-campus and off-campus with the approval of supervisor performing other duties as assigned by the Dean
