    *Job Description*
    The College of Arts and Letters at Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking *two (2)* candidates for full-time, non-tenure-track, renewable faculty appointments as Teaching Assistant Professor of Writing and Humanities to teach in our Freshman Experience Program, beginning in fall 2022. Candidates must hold a Ph. D. in a humanistic discipline such as history, philosophy, English, comparative literature, African American studies, gender studies or one of the social sciences.

    The successful candidate will possess experience teaching at the undergraduate level in both composition and the candidate’s field of expertise and will be responsible for teaching the two courses that make up the Freshman Experience at Stevens:  CAL 103, Writing and Communications; and CAL 105, Knowledge, Nature Culture: An Introduction to the Humanities and Social Sciences.
