The Department of International Literary and Cultural Studies at Tufts University invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in Hebrew Language to teach two courses in the fall and two courses in the spring semester during 2023-2024, with possibility of renewal.  

 

Qualifications

Requirements: native or near native fluency in Hebrew and excellent command of English; demonstrated ability to teach all levels of Hebrew typically offered in U.S. universities; college degree required, MA in related field and teaching certificate in Hebrew as a second language desirable.  Commitment to language teaching and curriculum innovation; interest in innovative usage of teaching technology.

Responsibilities include teaching Hebrew at all levels, and curriculum-related activities.
