American University of Sharjah, an internationally ranked and accredited American-style university of approximately 5,000 students in the United Arab Emirates, seeks a full-time faculty member in Rhetoric Composition to teach courses in general education, academic writing, and/or ESP in the Department of English. Candidates should hold a completed PhD in Rhetoric Composition with specialization in academic writing. In addition, specialization in Teaching English for Specific Purposes (TESP) is especially welcome.

Successful candidates will have a strong record of excellence in teaching and a demonstrated commitment to productive institutional service.
