Visiting Assistant Professor, Chinese History

The Department of History at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, invites applications for a temporary, one-year, non-renewable Visiting Assistant Professor position in Chinese history beginning Fall 2023. This is a full-time appointment. The specialty is open. The teaching load is two courses in Fall 2023 and two courses in Spring 2024, including two entry-level Asian history surveys, an upper-level lecture course on “China and the World,” and a seminar at either the undergraduate or graduate level. PhD in History or a related discipline required by time of appointment. Salary is $52,000 with full benefits.
