Exhibition at Carlos Museum co-curated by Linda Merrill

Linda Merrill and curator of Greek and Roman art, Ruth Allen, co-curated Recasting Antiquity: Whistler, Tanagra, and the Female Form at the Michael C. Carlos Museum. This exhibition centers around a series of works on paper by American artist James McNeill Whistler that were inspired by Hellenistic Greek terracotta figures known as Tanagras. The show will be open from February 3-May 19, 2024.
