Position Department: English
Description of Duties:
The Department of English at Bentley University invites applications for a Tenure-track Position in Ethnic American Literature, with a primary specialty in Asian American Literature or Latino/a American Literature. Additional expertise in a second Ethnic American literature is highly desirable.
Position Qualifications:
We seek applicants with records of publication, excellence in Undergraduate teaching and leadership or mentoring in area(s) related to diversity, inclusivity, ethics or social responsibility. Candidates should also have experience teaching expository writing.
A Ph.D. is required at the time of appointment, in July 2010.
Candidates who wish to be considered for an interview at the 2009 MLA Convention, should submit an application by December 7, 2009. Please also let us know if you will be attending the American Studies conference in Washington D.C., November 5 - 8, 2009.
