|
Postdoctoral Fellowships -- African American Literature
The Department of English at Rutgers University announces two Postdoctoral Fellowships for scholars pursuing research in African American and African Diaspora Literature.
Each applicant must have the doctorate in hand at the time of application and be no more than six years beyond the Ph.D.
The Fellowship of $45,000 with health benefits is of one year duration and includes a $2,000 research stipend.
Recipients will each teach one course, serve as an informal mentor to graduate students in the field and participate in the intellectual life of the Department.
Applicants are also invited to consider participation in the seminar series of one of the following research centers at Rutgers: the Center for Cultural Analysis, the Center for Race and Ethnicity or the Institute for Research on Women (whichever is the better fit).
