The Duke University Program in Women's Studies invites applications for two Postdoctoral Fellows in Interdisciplinary Feminist Studies, with a research focus in Human Animal Studies and the Question of Species.
We seek candidates with interdisciplinary experience in Women's Studies.
We welcome empirical, textual and theoretical specialization from a diverse array of academic fields, political and cultural contexts and historical periods.
Postdoctoral Fellows will participate in a faculty-graduate seminar on these themes and are expected to be in residence for the academic year.
Fellows will teach one course related to their scholarship.
The fellowship includes a stipend, health insurance and office space.
Applicants should have Ph.D.s in hand by May 2010.
