The Department of International Studies at American University of Sharjah (AUS) is seeking applicants at all ranks for a one-year visiting appointment commencing in August 2018.

Successful candidates must have a PhD in History, demonstrated teaching abilities, a scholarly record, and a commitment to productive institutional service. Candidates who can teach one or more of the following courses will have an advantage: Modern Arab History, Palestinian History, Ottoman History or a course on conflict in the Middle East.
