The English and Cultural Studies Department at Bryant University invites applications for an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Writing Workshop. This full-time, tenure-track position involves administration, teaching (2/2), and research. It offers a competitive salary with full benefits. A Ph.D in Rhetoric and Composition or similar area or a Ph.D. in English with research focus in composition is required. Experience administrating a college writing program is preferred. The successful candidate will show evidence of innovative teaching and curriculum development. Desirable areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, composition theory; multilingual writing and rhetoric; and multimodal composition.
