The Asian Studies Program at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, invites applications from qualified instructors to teach courses in the field of Asian Studies (discipline open, South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia). Courses include, but are not limited to Japanese Anime, Korean Pop Culture, Modern Cultures of Asia, Environmentalism in Asia, Asian History, Asian religions, Business in Asia, Literature, Film, or Gender Studies. Our preferred course list can be found on our program website, however we are open to proposals for courses that may fit into our program. Please include a summary of the course(s) you propose to teach in your cover letter. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience who employ interdisciplinary methods.

A Master’s degree, professional certification, or equivalency and (2) two years of experience in applicable discipline; extensive professional experience may be substituted for degree.
